Embed API

The variant feature allows you to create variants of the same model with different characteristics and even hide/show parts of the model You can - for example - use your 3D authoring tool to compose your 3D model of multiple components and then make variants where these parts are visible/invisible on p3d.in. You can create and manage variant sets, variants and the visibility of variants parts in the p3d.in Variant UI in the main Materials tab in p3d.in (As shown in the image below)

For example, variants allow you to switch between different physical product configurations as shown in this example:

The wheel rims in this example are in fact overlapping 3D models that are hidden/shown for different variants. In this way, you can quickly create complete product configurators with no need for coding.
