We support a range of common 3D exchange file formats including:

  • GL Transmission Format .gltf/.glb
  • Wavefront OBJ .obj
  • FBX (Filmbox) .fbx
  • STL format (.stl)

One or more of these file formats are available for export in all leading 3D packages. Use your 3D application's exporter to generate an suitable file and then upload your model using the interactive viewer at this URL: p3d.in/new.

What about textures and materials?

Your model exporter might also generate material information like colors and other characteristics used in it. p3d.in will do its best to automatically support these features. Of course we encourage you to keep tweaking your model in the online material editor until it looks perfect!

How many models can I upload?

You may upload any number of models (limited only by your total storage quota) with a maximum file size as follows:

  • Free, basic accounts: 25 MB.
  • Plus accounts: 50 MB.
  • Premium accounts: 200 MB.
  • Enterprise accounts: 300 MB.

Again, the ultimate limit to how many models you can have on the platform is how much storage you've acquired with your plan. Check our available plans and compare the different tiers and find the one that's right for you.
