The scan is of a replica of a knight from the Lewis Chessmen. Nat. Mus. Scotland http://tinyurl.com/p2xf69b British Museum http://tinyurl.com/25ry4u The knight's clothes are 12th-13th century. He holds a kite-shaped shield, a lance and wears a conical helmet. This replica was scanned by Wessex Archaeology to demonstrate photogrammetric recording of artefacts.
