Vedtak Rolvsøy formannskap 19.8.1982: "Utsmykking av det nye administrasjonssenteret: 1: Den gamle amboltstenen plasseres i en rabatt med lysarrangement ved hovedinngangen. En gammel ambolt bør plasseres på stenen". Ambolten var i sin tid plassert i smia som sto i et enkelt lite hus, like nord for bygdeborgen på Borgås og husmannsplassen Borgeli i Rolvsøy.
