Fantasy Weapon Set- Xenoargh, Wheene
This was a really cool project.
About 100 weapon meshes had been created by another artist, but they were released as OBJ without any UVs, various little issues (no hard edges, internal faces, etc.).
I decided to get them all cleaned-up and game-ready, using a single 1024 atlas texture for the entire series.
The final meshes also used vertex painting and vertex AO, which cannot be shown on P3D, but isn't terrifically important for the final feel.
Really cool demonstration of how to get the maximum bang for the buck from one texture.
