St Martin’s church renovated in 2017, Hénin-Beaumont, Pas-de-Calais - FRANCE
The church is built on the same site as the old church whose origins date back to the twelfth century, listed as a Historic Monument in 1827, dynamited by the Germans before their retirement in 1917. The reconstruction works are entrusted to Maurice Boutterin, chief architect of the government. They begin in 1929 and the new church is inaugurated on September 25, 1932. The building is classified as a historical monument in 2003.
