A British 25 pound shell from a Ordnance QF 25-pdr field gun, a major field gun and howitzer used during WWII. Makers mark is RLB-Royal Ordnance Factory Birtley, Newcastle upon Tyne dating to 1940, Lot No. 619. Repairer's mark [RL].
