►Description: This replica is of a skull known as 'Steinheim', which is thought to be from a Homo Heidelbergensis or Neanderthal dating to approximately 250,000- 350,000 years ago. The skull is thought to be of a female, around 30 years of age at death. Today the skull is in the collection of the Urmensch Museum in Steinheim

►Provenance Information: The skull was discovered in Steinheim, Germany, in 1933 by Karl Sigrist, Jr. The replica has no accompanying information available in the Langara lab, but appears to have been manufactured by the Carolina Biologicals company- based on similar casts discovered online (https://2024onlineshop.ru/product/155603707375).
►Condition: The replica has adhesive staining on the top of the cranium, otherwise in good condition.
