The original fossil nicknamed Toumai, was found in Chad in 2001 by Michael Brunet and his team. Dating back to 6-7 Million Years Ago, it is currently thought to be the oldest recorded hominid, or potentially it could be an ancestor to the modern day gorilla. ►Accession Number/ Identifying Number: BH-029 ► Provenance Information: boneclones.com for the replica.
