Something really exciting has happened in the p3d.in universe and we want to share it with you! As of July 1st p3d.in is now part of Global Scanning A/S.

What does this mean for p3d.in you ask? Well let’s begin by understanding the circumstances in which we have developed p3d.in all these years. We are a small team of developers from all over the world that love doing web coding and 3D. We love it so much that we’ve been dreaming of dedicating our entire days to creating amazing things in p3d.in. But so far all of our team members have been fighting a fearsome enemy called “day job” (silly DJ!). Even if we tried to dedicate our free time to creating p3d.in, the silly DJ was always in our way, making things slower or plain impossible.
Well now DJ is over, or actually p3d.in is our new DJ! With the entire team dedicated full time to p3d.in we are seeing things go at an unprecedented speed. Our motivation is at an all-time high as we see our week targets flying from the To Do stack to the Ready pile and the projects we once just dreamed of doing are now within our reach. Not only that, our team has grown with new experienced members filling in our previous weak spots.
This is all possible thanks to Global Scanning believing in our mission of delivering high quality online 3D visualization tools in your browser. We look forward to a long and prosperous life with our new partners and to everything that we will be able to achieve together! But more importantly, we look forward to continue working with you, the p3d.in community, and together guide p3d.in into an ever improving service.
