After more than a year of improving the Plus account we're finally taking it out of beta!
Granted p3d.in is an awesome way to display your 3D models on the web but it's still far from what we want it to become. With Plus you're not only recieving the advanced functionality you've come to expect but more importantly you're helping us accelerate the rate of development. We're excited about the future of p3d.in!
Drag and drop
The least clicks the better! Now you can drag your model and all its textures from your 'puter right into p3d.in to create a new model! All the textures you drop will be available immediately in the texture selector.
Automatic materials
The .obj file format has a sidekick called .mtl. Drag and drop your .obj toguether with the .mtl and textures and p3d.in will set you up with a nice starting point, saving you lots of time in material setup!
Easy Material Selection
We have noticed that browsing a long list of materials can be a bit of a pain, it's hard to find that one material! Now you can directly select materials by clicking on the model part you want to edit.
New Embed Features PLUS
Our advanced embed system in Plus has got 2 new tricks, the ability to set the background color and the ability to disable the border shadow. We choose the default settings that work for most typical uses, however with this new options we hope to make it easier to use p3d.in in your custom websites.

X-Ray
The X-Ray viewport shading mode has been upgraded This shading mode is designed to help you see across complex shapes and let's you find gitches and inner details in complex models.
