Ruined House, Loch Pooltiel, near Glendale, Skye
A photogrammetric survey of a ruined two-storey stone house on the eastern shore of Loch Pooltiel, near Glendale, Isle of Skye (NGR NG1690,5010). The building is aligned NE/SW with the remains of a door flanked by two windows on the NW elevation and a first floor domestic fireplace on the SW gable (interior). No Highland Historic Environment Record or Historic Scotland Record entry. Could this be a 19th century fishing net barking house or just a simple domestic building directly on the shore? The 3D model is constrained to WGS84 with a Ground Sampling Distance of 5mm.
